Information We Collect

When you create a TickerShift account we collect your email address. We also collect the tickers you add to your watchlist, notes you write on individual stocks, your conviction calls, and the tickers you have recently viewed. We do not collect your name, phone number, or payment information directly — payment processing is handled securely through the App Store or Google Play. To manage subscriptions, our subscription provider, RevenueCat, receives an account identifier, purchase receipts and your subscription status from the app store. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address, and your name if you choose to share it, from that provider. We do not receive your Google or Apple password.

Our Website

If you sign up for early access on tickershift.com, we store the email address you enter so we can contact you about the launch. When you visit the website we also record basic visit information: the page you viewed, the referring site, your browser type, and a random session identifier that is not linked to your identity. We use this only to understand how many people visit and where they come from. You can ask us to remove your email from the early access list at any time by emailing hello@tickershift.com.

How We Use Your Information

We use your email to authenticate your account and send account-related communications. We use your watchlist and viewing history to personalize your experience and pre-generate research for stocks you care about. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

Data Storage

Your account data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Stock research content is cached to improve app performance. Payment information is processed and stored by Apple or Google and never touches our servers.

Third Party Services

TickerShift uses the following third party services: Supabase for database and authentication, Apple App Store and Google Play for payment processing, RevenueCat for subscription management, Google and Apple for sign-in, Resend for sending account emails such as email confirmation, a licensed market data provider for stock market data, and Anthropic Claude for research generation.

Push Notifications

If you grant permission we may send push notifications about earnings events, watchlist updates, and weekly digests. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings or within the app under Profile — Notifications.

Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data inside the app: open the Profile tab and choose Delete account. You can also request deletion at tickershift.com/delete-account or by emailing hello@tickershift.com. We process email requests within 30 days. You can also reset your app data at any time from the Profile screen.
